Personality:

In Otherland; Calm, strong, and friendly he likes making friends instead of enemies and would do anything to save the ones he loves. He's a great marksman and overly protective of the young girl Queenie, and Alice who we suspect is his main love interest. He's much different than his other form, almost as if he has become two separate people in 2 worlds where he was treated differently.

In Chaos; This boy has a split level personality, on one hand he's got a 5 year old mentality all for candy shiny things and just playing. On the other he had a grown version who fights, protects, and is all in all a good guy if a little wacky. He usually stays in the younger form because life is easier on him when he does. Occasionally you can see his older self locked in him coming out in what he says or does, he's wise for a youngin'. He enjoys literally bouncing off the walls when in a sugar high and loves people. He'll cling and beg for hugs and scratchies and to take people home with him forever. Very impressionable he'll act like someone if left around them too long. When his rarely shown older form escapes he becomes a laid back surfer style guy who likes lounging around, cracking jokes, flirting excessively with the ladies, and drinking anything he gets his paws on, water, soda, or beer. He loves punk rock music, the peppier the better and bass galore. He enjoys sneaking out to raves to get his groove on and can stay in control of the body until Cheshire is either hit in the head fairly hard or he goes to sleep. When drunk he tends to attempt to make-out with anything near him, his advances skewed by the drink he'll be found curled up making out passionately with a lamp or telephone pole or quite possibly a blender or couch.

In Otherland; Real family; none. There were 4 others who were created in the same lab as he was; Queenie, Alice, March, and Maddie. These may be considered his 'littermates'.

In Chaos; Izzy his Adopted brother, Cat his adopted mother/sister

History/Background: Both versions of Cheshire were born in a lab with the other 4 people and brought up by lab employees. They were created by Dr. Shauna Freedman, a woman with a strange love for the character of the Cheshire Cat and all his Wonderland friends. This is where the similarities end.

In Otherland; Cheshire escapes the facility with Alice, March and Queenie when he is 18, Alice is 17, March is 18, and Queenie is 7. They go on a ragtag adventure trying to escape the woman that created them who has long since turned senile and evil in her old age, threatening to dismantle them if they didn’t play her sick little games of pretend. On their trip Maddie, another experiment March and Cheshire's age crafted after the Mad Hatter, descends on them. It seems she's been brainwashed to fight for Dr. Freedman. March doesn’t seem to be able to fight her as she is his sister and lover. Cheshire is forced to nearly kill her, at which point the drops into depression when he thinks he really has. She comes back to life, free of the brain washing but in the end everyone in the fivesome except Cheshire and Queenie are murdered. Including his love Alice who he'd grown very fond of and had expressed his love to her. He now sleeps eternally in a Freeze Capsule the now teenage Queenie has sworn to protect with the very weapons he once used.

In Chaos; The lab was shut down for murderous practices and Cat saved Cheshire from being taken away with his littermates to an unknown possible demise. At the time he was around 16 years old and had been hooked to a strange machine which read his mind-waves. It had backfired slamming him with his old memories and causing him to retain a perpetual 5 year old vision on the world except when his older mind-frame escapes. Cat, instead of sending him away when she realized a few years later he wasn't maturing mentally, took pity on him and 'adopted' him as a son/brother and gave him a job as one of her many minions. He now lives with her and his 'brother' Izzy in the central block of her estate, keeping everything light hearted and having fun annoying the house itself.
