MFE H.Q.

Muses For Everyone Headquarters is the area in a side dimension where Muses are taught how to control their powers. Young muses run around doing chores, and basically being gophers for the experienced and Desk!Muses. The whole assembly seems to be made of somewhat solid clouds in the shape of a huge office building. Out front is a small courtyard with a fountain of pure liquid inspiration. Out back is Training Muse homes, stables, and several large courtyards of soft as a feather grass. The entire world seems to be enclosed in walls made of clouds, and outside of the walls pure endless blue skies with cirrus clouds blissfully oozing by, in the way that spurs on daydreams.

Muses tend to stick to their own, ignoring what anyone outside of their powers says. The Council is on uneasy terms with them, always fearing their members will be 'inspired' to start a war that may destroy them all. No one seems ready to challenge the right of the Muses because of their opposing strength, but neither do the Muses seem to want to create more havoc than is necessary for inspiration. They keep to themselves in order to avoid retribution.

The Higher ranked Muses are exceptionally powerful, and are known to have several layers of huge fluffy white wings. One of them is a middle age female who wears glasses, and seems only partially egotistical. She is the type who does not like rights being trampled, especially ones relating to her. She seems to be the absolute highest ranked muse of the bunch, and is known as Molly Awen.

Young Muses are plucked from where they are born, and brought to the Nursery of MFE H.Q. From the beginning they are taught to craft, create, and learn. Muses are born at random, from souls who have been 'touched' by the gift. This is a known mutation, and scientific types are trying to find out what causes it. Ms. Awen is annoyed by the scientists who attempt to investigate the cause, and tends to give them a hard time with finding any inspiration, and usually only giving them the smallest doses she can without feeling too guilty.

From the Nurseries, muses are moved to the stables when about school-going age. The Stables are small rooms attached to form a kind of apartment complex where the children live alone, or with adopted sort of siblings. They are treated as gophers, and Interns depending on age. Older muses, who are considered independent muses in their own right, can be found in their own dimensions, or occasionally in larger offices that have been designed to be used as as much of a home, as an office.

Files and Paperwork run MFE H.Q. to the edge. Being raised here means from an early age you were taught to write things down, and put them in order. H.Q. seems to be in constant Chaos, which while accepted as a needed thing, the Muses are always trying to regulate it into Order. They believe that once Chaos has appeared, blossomed, and created fruit, it must be sent on to the other life, or to people who need it, before it rots.
